PATERSON — Two robbers held up a city gas station attendant, one holding a gun to the victim’s head while forcing him into the bathroom as the other took money from the register, police said.
The two robbers went into the Power Gas station store, at 310 Park Ave., just after 10:10 p.m. Monday. One of the robbers, brandishing a handgun, forced the attendant into the bathroom and stole his money, police said.
The gunman also put his hand over the attendant’s mouth and held the gun to his head, said Detective Lt. Richard Reyes.
The second robber took money from the register. Both men ran from the gas station, one going west on Park Avenue and the other running east, Reyes said.
The attendant, a 32-year-old city man, was not injured. Police ask anyone with information on the crime to call Detective Ralph Fermin at 973-321-1120.
